Aside from my professional career, I enjoy many hobbies. I have included photos in the slideshow below to showcase my various hobbies I enjoy with those closest to me.

I hiked across Grandfather Mountain in Blowing Rock, NC in 2019. I hiked across Profile Trail and Underwood Trail to reach the Mile High Bridge. I have also hiked Pinnacle Peak, Cedar Cliff, Looking Glass Falls, and Nellie's Falls. My dad instilled a love for nature in me through spending as much time outdoors as possible since I was a little girl. He and I bond through hunting turkey and trout fishing together. My dad has taught me how to work hard for what I am passionate about and how to be an independent woman.

I served as the Vice President of Academics on the Executive Board for Delta Zeta Sorority at Western Carolina University in 2021. I enjoy attending events and community service opportunities with my fellow sisters throughout the week between work and classes. Greek life has been challenging and stressful, but the friends and memories I have made over the past two years are priceless. I will forever carry with me the love of the empowering women I have grown close to during my time in the organization.

My other hobbies include creating and crafting. I draw on Procreate on my iPad in my spare time to decompress. Hobbies that evoke serenity and peace are the hobbies that allow us to recharge in life - mine just so happens to be Procreate. In 2020 I learned how to draw and print customized waterproof vinyl stickers. I also learned how to draw digital portraits of loved ones and animals.

I have a black lab, Rory, who is named after the classic TV show Gilmore Girls. She is spunky, charismatic, and hyper-active -- just like the show! She is four years old and is still in the puppy stage. She loves squeeze cheese, tummy rubs, and gets the zoomies often.
